You are COMPLETE in Christ!

What is the word COMPLETE?
adj. having all the necessary or appropriate parts; finished making or doing; entire, full

We oftentimes feel that we lack something. We feel obligated to furnish something in us that is lacking. For example, we feel that we are not successful in our careers, so we try to fill that part with something else in our lives. Or we have issues with our marriages, or our loneliness, that we seek attention from other people to fill the void of unhappiness, thus endangering the bond of marriage, or, the bond of marriage of the other party.

As Blaise Pascal said and we quote: ”There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of each man which cannot be satisfied by any created thing but only by God the Creator, made known through Jesus Christ.”

We do not need validation from created things, only through Jesus that we can fill that void.

Thank You, God, for You complete me. You are the reason why we love because You loved us first. You are the very essence of what love is. Thank You Father for loving us even when we’re yet sinners. Help us to remind ourselves that we can only find the love and peace that we seek in You alone. Amen.
