What is faith?
When you ask kids what faith to Jesus is all about, they will say: ”that I will go to heaven!”. It’s not wrong, but it’s not just that.
Faith is when you don’t know what is to happen, but continues to trust in the Lord;
faith is when you’re battling cancer, but is still holding on to God for the unknown future;
faith is knowing that you have lost a job but continues to trust God for He is faithful to His promises;
faith is trusting God for whatever may happen, that God IS God and that He is still on the throne, and that He will work things for good for those who love Him.
Faith is trusting the unknown future to the known God.
God is here, He is present in our lives. Take this opportunity of hardship and anxious times to turn to Him. He is just waiting for you to talk to Him.
“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.
