The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most sensational event and THE MOST important event in human history.
The Bible is clear that Jesus’ resurrection guarantees our home. His resurrection meant that death does not have power over Him, and that meant our faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior are cemented, rooted, and permanently stable. When you place your faith in Christ alone for the gift of eternal life then His resurrection meant that someday, you and I will have our own resurrection when we see Him face to face.
His resurrection changes everything. His grace changes everything. His resurrection shook the whole world, took it by storm, and changed lives. Our lives have never been the same when we experienced His grace brought by the empty grave.
We can always look back on this spectacular event in history with a thankful heart. Lord, thank You for the Cross, and thank You for You conquered death for that means the God that we serve and worship experienced our pains, walked on this earth filthy with sin, suffered for us, died but is now RISEN. Our God is alive. Jesus is alive!
