What can the world offer us that lasts? Nothing.
Everything in this world passes away. Therefore, it is hopeless to cling to material possessions and earthly status. None of these earthly things will matter. But, to love God and to do His will is eternal life. So, rather than invest in earthly goods, invest in the Lord. Where our time and money are, there our hearts will be. Spend our time and money investing in doing God’s will and we will never be separated from him
